Clients whose addictions are complicated by bi-polar, depressive, or other psychiatric disorders work closely with our psychiatric and medical team.

All clients are evaluated for the possibility of a co-existing disorder that could interfere with their recovery process. If a client is found to be "dually-diagnosed", the team decides upon the proper course of treatment, including the possibility of utilizing the benefits of psychological testing or medical management.

The patient is given valuable information about his/her disorder, and taught how to manage the symptoms of both the addiction and psychiatric disorder simultaneously.
