"I would like to start this letter by thanking the staff for the care and love they showed me while here. You people are miracle workers. I thank you for all the help and tools you gave me on my steps to recovery. I will love all of you for that.

For anyone who reads this letter that is looking for help and needs to start working toward their recovery, I recommend The Family Drug Rehabilitation Center. The establishment is truly a “family.” They offer group sessions, medical care, and love. They also have activities for relaxation and free time that include: Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Swimming and Olympics every Sunday.

If you are serious about Beginning a new life away from your addiction, “The Family” is the place to be.

"I came to The Family Drug Rehabilitation Center on October 29, 2002. I got here drunk and high off of coke. I’ve been getting high for 15 years. After I married and had my first child…enough was enough. One day my wife got tired of my getting high. Selling shit out of my house, renting my car out in exchange for drugs. She told me that it was either her or the coke. But it was no contest. We called many places, but no one would take me unless I was a heroin addict or an alcoholic. My wife and I were totally heartbroken. And, then by the grace of God we found “The Family Drug Rehabilitation Center.” Located in Florida, the weather was wonderful, just not much to see except a bunch of drunks and addicts. JUST WHERE I NEEDED TO BE! They took me in and fixed me up. I remember nothing about my detox period but I know I survived. I met a lot of great people. Even the staff (or at least a % of it were recovering addicts/alcoholics themselves which made my rehabilitation a lot easier. Today is November 28th and I’m going home. The Family has truly been a blessing to me."
