The use of alcohol and/or drugs is grounds for immediate discharge from
the program.
The possession of weapons, acts of violence, and/or threats of violence
are grounds for immediate discharge from the program.
Smoking and/or use of smokeless tobacco products are only allowed inside
designated gazebo areas only.
No smoking during any groups or meetings unless given permission by
clinical director or waiting to see a doctor.
Patients must attend all treatment activities on time and is to remain
in the activity for the entire duration.
Negative contracts involving major rule violations not reported to staff
will result in consequences and/or discharge from the program.
Patients are to respect the personal property of other patients and
staff.
No borrowing, stealing, or lending of money and/or other items is permitted.
Patients are responsible for their behavior and are expected to
communicate, cooperate, and show respect to other patients and staff.
Sexual relationships with peers are grounds for dismissal, as they are
considered detrimental to the community and the individuals’ involved
recovery process.
Interaction with members of the opposite sex is permitted only in group
settings and therapeutic activities.
All treatment assignments are to be completed in a timely manner.
When you do not know what to do, do not assume…Ask a staff member, community chairperson, or a buddy.
No profanity or verbal abuse of staff and/or patients is allowed.
No gambling and/or card playing is permitted.
Entry into another patient’s room is not allowed for any reason.
Logos on clothing that are gang, drug, and/or alcohol related are not
permitted.
No hats are to be worn inside of the buildings.
No tank tops, halter-tops, backless, or low cut clothing. No short
shorts, see through, or other tight clothing. Undergarments must be
worn at all times.
Two-piece bathing suits are allowed however, no bikini thongs will be
permitted.
No sunbathing unless inside the pool area only.
No medications of any kind are allowed unless approved and prescribed
by our physician.
Absolutely no verbal or physical contact with the adolescents.
No battery operated and/or electronic devices (i.e. cell phones,
headphones, CD players, walk-men, laptops, dvd players, clock radios etc.)
Standard alarm clocks are permitted.
A member of the clinical staff must approve all reading and video
material. (Therapist and/or clinical director only)
No food and/or candy are allowed in a patient’s room. All food received
through the mail must be kept in the common kitchen area.
Knowledge and awareness of rules is expected.
No passes and/or visits are permitted during the first week of inpatient
treatment.
All requests for therapeutic visits must be submitted and approved by
your therapist by Friday at 3pm.
All requests for money and/or valuables must be submitted and approved
by your primary therapist.
Television is only allowed during the following times:
Mon-Thurs: 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Friday: 8:30 pm - 12:00 am
Saturday: 2:00 pm - 12:00 am
Sunday: 10:30 am - 11:30 pm
Telephones are only allowed during the following times:
Mon-Thurs: 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Friday: 8:30 pm - 12:00 am
Saturday: 8:30 pm - 12:00 am
Sunday: 9:00 am - 11:30 pm
Failure to abide by the rules may result in restriction of privileges.
In more serious cases, repeated violations, or disregard for program
rules will result in an administrative discharge.
Behavior that undermines treatment rules and expectations will not be
tolerated. Violation of these rules will result in consequences and
may result in dismissal from the program. Illegal activity is subject
to criminal prosecution.
